First Post!!!

So, I am going to start a blog. I am confident I will make millions; but don't be jealous, not everyone can be awesome. I have been thinking about it for awhile now. I keep thinking "But no one will like it, no one will read it, boo hoo". Well you know what; if you don't than you are an idiot. Oh, side note: I'm sarcastic. So if you will be offended by that this is not the blog for you. You have been warned, now you can't complain.

This amazingly, wonderful deal called being a parent is difficult. The most difficult job in the world (in my humble opinion).It’s also the most rewarding thing in the world. I love my kiddos more than anything but some days it takes all my energy to not pull my hair out.

I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so I am in the home ALOT, well basically always. In order to survive, I need my home and space to be beautiful. I believe it is important to feel comfortable and happy while in your home. This blog will show my adventures of trying to make my home into a beautiful and calming space for me and my family. I will be doing some crafting and other projects. I am oh so creative and awesome at making things! Wink, wink. I will try, (I'm sorry Yoda, but yes try) not to spend too much money and make Grumpy (my amazing man) grumpier, but no promises. I do not really know how well I am at giving instructions, but I can take before and after pictures and tell you what I did (I just love before and after pictures, don't you?) If nothing else hopefully it will inspire you; either to copy me or do the exact opposite. I will also add in some posts with stories about this crazy thing called being a Mother (as my son has started calling me) and how crazy that can make you, so you won't feel so alone in your own adventures. Or maybe I am alone and am the only one who sometimes feels like I’m going completely bananas! In that case, just take a moment to laugh at my crazy-ness and be thankful you are not me!
