Happy Father's Day

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

I know, I know I dropped the ball again.  I am supposed to have some fun craft or something for you guys.  I'm sorry.  And I promised I would do better next time.  I fail.  EPIC FAIL Super Mommy.  I'm sorrrrrryyyyyy!!!!

Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day.  We did.  Mostly.  I would like to give a shout out to Grumpy, who is a wonderful daddy (I know I pick on him a lot, especially in the blog).  I would like to share a picture of him holding our daughter when she was only a few days old.  Yeah he is totally in love with her.

And he is amazing with Cheetah Boy, who isn't his biological son.  He (Grumpy) has done very well considering he went from living the bachelor life, to a girlfriend and two kids in his home.  He is pretty great.  I have known some good Daddys and some bad Daddys, and he is defiantly a good one.

I also would like to shout out to my own Dad.  He is pretty awesome too.  I have fond memories of getting to eat ICE CREAM for every meal, playing "Hot Rock Dinosaur", tagging along with him to work, and many, many camping adventures.  He is also the most awesome Grandpa to all his grandkids, (he has 8 now counting my kiddos).  I couldn't ask for a better one.

I would also like to mention how today I always think about how grateful I am to still have my dad.  My BFF lost her dad a few years ago, as did Grumpy, and I can't imagine what they must go through.  Not to mention all the horrible things that have happened this past year, and all the fathers without their children, and children without their fathers. It all makes me sad.  But again, grateful that I have my dad and my kids have Grumpy.

Ok, enough sadness.  I will share some fun pictures from our father's day.

Never mind, my phone is being annoying.  But basically I made him a special breakfast.... wait I do that pretty much everyday.  He enjoyed his gifts, Season 1 and 2 of "Game of Thrones" (ick), a year subscription to National Geographic, a wooden sign that says "Dad's Garden" and this cool concrete alligator that if you set on the ground it looks like an alligator is swimming underneath, like its 3 pieces... that make sense?  Grumpy was able to take a nap, and we went out to dinner.  Oh and I took the kids out of the house for a little bit so he could watch some of his show and now that the kids are in bed I am downstairs so he can watch more of his show.  I don't like that show!  It is much too dark for me.

Anyway, there you go.  I hope you had a wonderful Father's Day!!

Kisses~

What did you do today??
