First of all, I know you have been worried about if I survived Hood to Coast or not! I did. And I only walked about half a mile during my last leg! I was very proud of myself. However, we didn't sleep. There were So many people and the traffic was terrible. This was my first year running it, but both my sisters who have done it several times, said that traffic had never been that bad before. I am very glad I did it though. I wish I could tell you all the funny lines we were saying in the van, however unless you are sleep deprived, running a crazy amount of miles, and stuck in a van with 6 other stinky people, you probably wouldn't get it. "Follow that flamingo!" (giggle, giggle, giggle)
Anyway, remember how I was like "Oh I don't need to paint behind the holder deals for the shelves because I am going to keep the shelves in the same place" in this post. Well obviously I jinxed myself by saying that because sure enough shortly after Grumpy was holding Little Miss a little too close to the shelf and she pulled the whole thing down. So there it is, the line that did not get painted.
I am annoyed. Ok I think I have some left over paint, so I could/should fix it. Maybe another time.
The strawberry jam turned out perfect! Not too thick or thin... so I must have added the correct amount of Pectin. Or not, but it still turned out!
We found this awesome trail that is within walking distance from our home. I just can't believe it. I mean look at this.
Seriously. What? I know! It is awesome. And they are kept up, obviously, and there was a sign about the city's parks rules and such. So they are like official trails. I am beyond happy. It goes all up into the woods and after you go a ways there is a four way intersection of trails!!! I know!!!! I love it. So excited. I just can't stop. I feel like I can breath again.
I feel like there was something else that I wanted to let you know about. Some other update....
Kisses~
