Downstairs Hallway: Part 2

Look at the pretty blue I picked out!

It is actually a little more blue... or a little brighter... or a little more something than I thought, but I think it will still work.

I have painted many rooms in my time, well not really that many, but some. I have never been careful at taping around the trim and ceiling and anywhere else I don't want to paint. And by never been careful, I mean just never did it. Period. SO, this time I will tape every little part that I do not want painted so it will be extra pretty. I don't know. Whatever. So here I am busy taping away and thinking about what I am going to write.

 

See, that is the wall with the shelves. Maybe. We will see. Anyway.

I decided to just paint one section of the wall first to make sure I didn't hate the color. And to make sure Grumpy didn't totally hate it. Well here is his expression when he saw it. What do you think?

He wasn't so sure, but he said "Yes, Dear" like a good Grumpy boy.

Little Miss got stuck while I was busy taping the walls. Yes, I know there is a cord right there. She didn't get into it, don't worry. I know the dangers; before you go posting this all over the internet saying what a terrible Mom I am.

And just look how cute she is!

 

And now I ran out of tape. Darn it. I guess I have to go back to Home Depot. Crap, I just hate going there! It is just my least favorite thing to do! There is nothing there at all I want to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on!
