Play/Craft Room: Part 2

 

Working away on the downstairs.  If you remember I recently put in some cabinets to store all my craft stuff in, (you can see that post here).  So I moved around my desk and the shelf I had like this.

 

 

That shelf/cubby thing used to have my craft stuff, but now I will use it for toys. In the corner downstairs is where our internet stuff is, so stuff I can't really move.  But I needed to childproof it.  Hmm whatever to do?  Well I'm awesome so I thought to get another cabinet (this one smaller) and place it over where all the cords are.  Look at this mess!  Children could make a huge mess of all that!  And yikes looks like I need to dust....

 

 

But now!  Safely locked away!  I anchored that to the wall to, but I realized I must have done that after I took the picture.  It looks so nice and neat though doesn't it?  And I got that cool childproof lock deal to put on the handles.  That is right, I think of everything.   

 

 

The other project I had spoke of that I needed to do was find something to put over the fireplace.  Or in front of it rather to block it off.  Oh crap, clearly I am showing this to you backwards because if you look to the right, that bookshelf? yeah that is where that little cabinet is now.  I am doing a lot, it is hard for me to remember the exact order or things!  I'm sorry ok?  I guess I could delete this all and start over, but you know what, that takes too much work!  Ok so I will carry on now. 

 

 

We redid our kitchen about a year ago, well a little over a year because it was right about the time Little Miss was born.  Awesome timing on our part.  But the old cabinets (which Grumpy refused to get rid of when I said we should) are still in the garage.  I am thinking maybe one of them will fit in front of the fireplace, what do you think?  I realize the pictures are bad, but our garage is super full of junk, sooooo it is difficult to find the room to take a good picture.

 

Yeah I thought I took better pictures then this actually.  Sorry. You totally can't even see what I am talking about.  But they are the old kitchen cabinets. 

 

I am off to measure and see which one fit the best!

Have any of you done Zumba?  We went again this evening, and dang I am sore!  And I feel like a total idiot because I have no rhythm and am way to scared to shake my butt.
